I retired recently as a microbiologist running an International Food Technology Business. My retirement activities of travelling, ballroom dancing and playing in a band have been curtailed by Covid.

 

I, this year, started to appreciate the simple pleasure of a park that my home overlooks.  People come there for all sorts of reasons and each one has an interesting story to tell.  So began a collation of stories, pen pictures and details of the seasonal activities in the life of my park, in this case, the largest war memorial park in the UK, I believe. I started it for the fun of writing it and it has developed into a story book of people, activities and the Parks biology.  So here is Victory Park from my viewpoint.  I hope you enjoy it and find it of interest.
